For over 80 years, volunteers have played a key role in Bluestone Federal Credit Union’s ongoing success. To continue to grow and facilitate a better understanding of our member’s needs, Bluestone Federal Credit Union has created a voluntary branch advisory committee called “Member Voice” to assist us in a consultative capacity to provide insight, ideas and feedback:

1. To improve member communications and service from our member’s point of view;
2. For exploration of new business ideas, products, and services;
3. By sharing concerns and recommendations;
4. By serving as advocates and ambassadors of the Credit Union; and
5. By participating in periodic meetings (usually one per quarter) to review and discuss applicable topics and become better acquainted with your Credit Union.

Current Bluestone FCU members in good standing who support the Credit Union movement, who believe in the Credit Union philosophy of “people helping people” and who meet the minimum age requirement of 18 years of age, are eligible to join Member Voice. Simply complete the online application and submit it to us for review. Approximately 3-5 members per branch will be selected to participate in Member Voice. The Credit Union reserves the right to limit the number of participants in Member Voice.

Applicants should be willing to commit to an initial term of 1 year which may be renewed as agreed upon by both Bluestone FCU and the volunteer. They should also be willing to engage in productive dialogue with other Member Voice participants and serve as a voice for other members. Meetings will be held at one of three branch locations in Sioux Falls and will be about 1 hour in length. A meeting schedule will be communicated as soon as Member Voice participants have been finalized. Member Voice participants are highly encouraged to attend the Credit Union’s annual meeting.
